What do I mean by Business Basics?
When we start our own business, we get caught up in the excitement. We have the passion and drive. However, without the business basics, passion and drive will only get you so far.
To run a successful business that can thrive not just survive you need to know how to run a business. I’m not saying do everything yourself (unless you really want to), but you do need to have some understanding of everything a business needs to function.
This includes (but not limited):
- A business plan.
- Your business strategy.
- The marketing and content plan.
- Contracts and other legal documents.
What do I cover in the Business Basics Course?
- Business Strategy and Business Plan.
- Business Model.
- Ideal Client.
- Marketing and Marketing Strategy.
You can read more about the Business Basics course here. You can also check if it’s open for applications.
Although I touch on the legalities and accounts side of things, I will always recommend you get expert advice (and I provide resources to send you to the right place). The main reason is that I’m not qualified in legal or accounting and cannot be held responsible if something goes wrong on those sides. However, I aim to give you an understanding so you know what you are asking the professionals about.

The investment for the course is not just all about money. If you are serious about your business, you need to put the time and effort in to do the work. I am here to share the knowledge, tell you what you need to do but the doing is down to you.
Because of this, I charge a fee that only serious people will consider and I don’t take everyone that applies to be on the course. When you register, I ask you to complete a short form about you and your business. You also have to commit to take action.
Yes, I could take everyone’s money but that’s not what I’m about. It’s about helping people succeed and do something they love.
You can get more information including the full investment and how to apply on my online training page.
As well as checking out the details of the business basics course, you can pop over and say hi in my closed Facebook group and ask a question or two, or take a look at my personalised 1-2-1 training. It is important that you get to know the person behind the brand, especially when you are looking at a coach or training.
