Build Your Own Wedding Business

Becoming an entrepreneur is a popular choice these days, however, a lot of people fail in the first two years. The main reasons are:

  • Focusing on the idea not the business.
  • Not knowing how to run their own business.
  • Lack of understanding what needs to be done before launching their business.
  • Do not understanding their worth and under or over charging.
  • Not monitoring the numbers.
  • Unfamiliar with setting smart goals.

Like any career move, it is important to research the industry you are about to enter. Look at how you are going to run your business. Understand your Big Why and Ideal Client. These are just a few pointers.

It may look like the perfect solution (and to some extent it is) but it is hard work, in the beginning. Long hours, demanding clients, suppliers with their own priorities. Plus all the work of running your own business. Don’t get me wrong, I love my businesses. I love the responsibility of making someone’s dream come true. It just isn’t for everyone.
